    Two things that amaze me

    1) how many amazing Eastern European delis Ottawa has that are flying below the radar

    2) the fact that nobody has reviewed this place yet!

    Located on the right side of Merivale (when travelling South) in the strip mall across from Red Lobster, the European Delicatessen is a full service deli and small grocery for European goods. I went there based on word of mouth to try their Schnitzel sandwich (apparently the best in Ottawa), but they had sold out long before I arrived (which was still before 1pm). I instead got their Reuben sandiwch, which was handmade and grilled for under 8 dollars.

    Definietly worth a try! I will be back for sure.
